I'm still alive and well in the great Italia. I am so sorry I haven't sent a weekly in several weeks. It's been a mix of being busy/working up the will power to type something out! But here I am! And I will try to be more consistent in my weekly emails. These past weeks have been super super busy for us! The work is going so well here in Siracusa. We are teaching some amazing people and they are really progressing. I will include some photos of them.
This last week we had a ton of meal appointments. We had lunch appointments every day since Wednesday and an extra dinner appointment Friday. So in five days we have had six meal appointments. Plus another one tonight and a lunch tomorrow. So we are pretty loaded. And yes I think I gained weight. The Italians feed their guests sooo much. So I end up eating a double portion. That's okay though because we walk everywhere and sweat it all off. Also this week we had a ball in church. Like from the 1800s. Yes- it was amazing. I loved it so much. There were soooo many people there it was crazy. The church was packed. It was really cool because after we were able to mingle with everyone and the people were so open to listen. We even had a couple of people show up in church on Sunday because of it.
Also, transfers have come around the corner and I will be sticking around Siracusa with Sorella Spencer again! So I'm excited about that. I literally love her with my whole heart! She's literally such an amazing missionary and I've been learning so much from her so I'm excited to stick around. Basically life is good and I'm loving being in Italy. I'm very grateful for my mission and the miracles I see every day. I love you all so much and am grateful for you!!
